Genesis, the luxury vehicles division of Korean automaker Hyundai has opened orders for its pure electric GV60 SUV in the UK. This new announcement follows after the manufacturer said last month that it will be soon opening orders for the model in Europe.
GV60 is the brand’s first electric car available in the UK. It is based on the dedicated E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) fully electric platform
Customers can pre-order the GV60 via its UK site, where they can explore the various features and options available. Pricings in the UK for GV60 start at £47,005.
A dedicated Genesis Personal Assistant will then be on hand once on sale to go through the final stages of configuration and then through to purchase.
Furthermore, customers can secure their vehicle by placing a fully refundable £1,000 deposit.

Using a 350kW rapid-charge, GV60 can be charged from 10-80% in just 18 minutes.
As standard, GV60 will come packed with next-generation technology providing a unique electric car experience. Advanced driver safety technology, a stunning dual 31.24 cm infotainment screen and wireless phone charging to name a few.
Like all Genesis vehicles, customers will be able to add a variety of different packages that come with extras. Some of them are -heated seats, a panoramic sunroof, Bang & Olufsen audio system and digital rearview side mirrors.
GV60 and e-mobility goals

By 2025, all new models from Genesis will be electric. The brand aims to reach net carbon zero by 2035.
