Electric Trucks 2022 (BEV) – Amazing Heavy Options

Can you imagine the existence of trucks that can haul heavy loads more efficiently while making almost zero pollution? Yup! The answer would have been a big “NO” for most people before the Tesla Semi’s unveiling in 2017. And even today, there would be quite many who are oblivious of such a possibility. So, keep reading to know electric trucks 2022 that are on the road doing what they are meant to be doing.

Undeniably, trucks do a significant amount of the heavy lifting when it comes to inland logistics and delivery of goods. They come in all different sizes – small as a light local delivery truck to super haulers of hundreds of tonnes of jumbo loads across countries.

These modern load carriers have evolved through various iterations over several generations. With each generation getting more capable, cleaner as well as fuel-efficient and economical than the previous. While all these progressions are appreciable and a welcome improvement, they are insufficient to address the lingering climate change issue. According to a stat of 2019 from the EPA, USA, trucks contribute to a significant amount of greenhouse emissions (GHE) from the transportation sector. This sector is already the biggest GHE contributor in the US. Many companies are promising much cleaner and fuel-efficient trucks in the forthcoming iterations. But the world just doesn’t simply have the time and luxury to continue with IC engines for much longer.

Battery Operated Heavy Electric Trucks 2022 Around the Globe (BEV)

Trucks have an operating profile very diverse and demanding, unlike passenger vehicles. As a result, the road to the mass adaptation of emissions-free mobility in CVs is going to take quite an effort. Countries and corporations across the globe are exploring zero-emissions alternatives (BEV, FCEV) and hybrid alternatives (HEV) in trucks. Despite all the hurdles, the world is making rapid strides in greener technologies. The prices of batteries have dropped while their capacities increased exponentially. The results are – significant improvements in range and operating costs per kilometre.

We have made a list of incredibly amazing heavy electric trucks (battery-operated) that are set to change how the world looks at these load carriers.
